This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation while contributing to a fast-paced logistics operation.6am-2pm and 10am-6:30pm Duties Safely operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and organization using RF scanners and warehouse management systems like AS400. Assist in shipping and receiving responsibilities, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damages, and maintaining detailed logs. Handle materials with mechanical knowledge for heavy lifting tasks, including stacking pallets and organizing stock in designated areas. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and proper safety protocols during all warehouse operations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in inventory management systems. Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or order pickers. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshoot equipment issues. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse work and heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis. Experience with inventory control methods including RF scanners, AS400 systems, or similar warehouse management systems. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
