Job Description
Valley Tool and Manufacturing is more than just a machine shop; they specialize in precision manufacturing, machined, fabricated, and formed components for the aerospace industry. A Material Handler recieves all incoming materials from suppliers. Oversees saw cutting, issues materials to jobs, keeps accurate inventory, assists in warehouse Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but, are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as required. Identifies and puts away material into proper Bin locations. Other tasks to support manufacturing operation - such as cutting and deburring materials. Signs into and tracks work using an ERP system. Capable of diagnosing simple issues with parts, able to work with technical staff to diagnose more complex issues. Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products. Follows documentation to select gauge and type of sheet metal such as copper, steel, or aluminum, or titanium. Receives and loads trucks for manufacturing processes. Inspects each operation for conformance to prints / specifications. Moving products to other areas as needed. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required. Willing to train mechanically apt person. Ability to add and subtract and have a basic understanding of geometry. Trained in Fork Lift operation. Oversees and directs saw cutting personal. Assist in warehouse operations with inventory and tooling.

Experience working with manufactured aerospace components preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate clearly with supervisor and coworkers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving limited variables in manufacturing process.Pay:
