Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse Clerk

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse clerk to join our team at D'Adamo Personalized Nutrition. The SRW clerk is a participant in all warehouse & shipping operations as a hands-on team member. The candidate will process and continuously improve all inbound, outbound, & internal inventory movement according to best practices and in-line with internal procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain inventory integrity by participating in regular physical counts with the warehouse team and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system. Ensure a culture of safety by adhering to safety standards as well as standard operational procedures. Maintain compliance with QC protocols and standards for products and within the warehouse. Receive and process purchase orders accurately in a timely manner. Pack and ship all customer and distributor orders professionally and appropriately. Accurately prepare and label merchandise as required. Support cleaning and maintenance protocols for warehouse Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with a strong work ethic. Proficiency and understanding of modern warehousing practices and methods. Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs. Able to maneuver effectively around the receiving department/warehouse and office. Position entails prolonged standing. Excellent attention to detail. Education and/or

Experience:

Experience in Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics with e-commerce fulfillment. Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting a plus.

Position Type:

Part Time (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8:30am-12:30pm)

Location:

South Norwalk, CT •Part-time employees may be eligible for benefits including health insurance, dental and vision plans, short/long term disability, paid time off (PTO), as well as participation in our 401k plan, however eligibility criteria will vary based on the number of hours worked.
