WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Job Description Mini Melts of America is an established leader in cryogenically frozen ice cream. As a company, we are on the forefront of the ice cream industry. Position Overview:
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for the Mini Melts Warehouse. This position is Monday - Friday (hours to be determined by the manager).
Job Description:
The tasks and responsibilities of a Warehouse employee include but are not limited to the following: Pulling inventory to fill orders in onsite-built cardboard/styrofoam shipping containers. Stocking Walkin Freezers and Freezer Trailers with Daily Products. Handling Dry Ice Regularly. Moving large storage containers to and from packaging to the warehouse using an electric pallet jack and/ or a forklift multiple times per day. Daily inventory counts of products, and weekly inventory counts of supplies. Assist in Loading & Unloading Trucks, Basic Shipping and Receiving. Filling out paperwork, to make sure deliveries are what they are supposed to be. That any shortages or damages are documented. Always working in pairs. When putting products away or pulling orders so that everything is verified. Inventory is very important. Assisting where needed, this could be in different departments.
Job Requirements:
Working in -40 Temperatures up to 15 minutes at a time Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs Must have a valid driver's license Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and a forklift Pre-employment background screening and drug test Ability to work at least 40 hrs per week, which may include some overtime at times
Basic Math Skills Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, company product codes and terminology. Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
