Warehouse Associate Apply Now Job Description:

Plainfield, Connecticut We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associates in the East Hartford, CT area to support material processing, pallet jack assembly, and general warehouse operations. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where employees are responsible for breaking down recyclable materials, assembling pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Successful candidates must be comfortable with continuous movement, frequent bending, and physical work throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

Cut, strip, and remove banding, stretch wrap, cardboard sheathing, and other packaging materials from corrugate and non-corrugate products. Process corrugate bales and skids safely and efficiently. Assemble pallet jacks by installing handles, testing functionality, and securing completed units to skids. Handle and maneuver pallet jacks weighing up to 150 lbs. Assist with warehouse housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors, emptying waste containers, operating compactors, and cleaning equipment. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Desired Background/Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods. Capable of lifting, moving, and handling heavy materials and equipment. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
