Job Summary Saugatuck Kitchens is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support our daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery. Verify inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager. Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts when properly certified. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to support daily warehouse operations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Company leadership. Qualifications Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required. Forklift certification preferred, but not required. Training may be provided if applicable to the position. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented. Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive work environment. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods, including 8+ hours per shift. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently. Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift. Perform repetitive hand and arm movements, including packing, scanning, and sorting. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, when certified. Work in varied environmental conditions, including cold storage, heat, noise, and dust. Maintain good visual acuity for reading labels, picking orders, and verifying inventory. Maintain balance and safely navigate warehouse aisles and work areas, including areas with moving equipment.
