Founded in 1987, Ferti Technologies produces premium quality fertilizers and amendments brought to the market through a network of distributors and retailers while always employing the same exacting production standards. We are looking for highly a motivated individual that is goal-oriented with an emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity in our Wallingford, CT facility. RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse associate to join our facility. The warehouse associate will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting deadlines, and experienced in inventory warehouse procedures. The warehouse associate may also operate heavy machinery, or drive equipment, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver's license is preferred and forklift experience is a must!
Other responsibilities may include:
Move inventory and materials across facilities Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location Package items and label them correctly Monitor items and ensure quality Stack and organize large bulk items Update logs and documentation for inventory processing Operate machinery such as forklifts to move or store inventory Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles Work as an active team member to complete team goals
QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalent preferred Forklift experience is
REQUIRED
Payloader experience is
REQUIRED
Valid driver's license Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently Monday - Friday 1st shift with availability for overtime when needed $19 hourly
