Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift
OVERTIME WEEKLY PLUS MONTHLY BONUS
Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator for our 3rd shift, responsible for managing the preparation and processing of customer orders within our warehouse environment. This role involves operating various heavy equipment and ensuring the accurate fulfillment of orders. Responsibilities Participate in daily team meetings to understand shift expectations. Pull materials within the warehouse using a sit-down forklift. Measure and verify materials to ensure correct order fulfillment. Set up and program saws for cutting materials. Make initial cuts and verify dimensions are accurate. Complete order cuts, deburr, clean, and package metals for shipment. Fill and prepare customer orders for shipment. Operate heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and processing machinery. Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Essential Skills Experience in a warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Basic understanding of measurement and material verification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience within the metal industry is a plus. Experience operating a sit-down forklift is beneficial, but training is provided. Experience using overhead cranes is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse with a dress code that includes plain colored T-shirts and metatarsal steel toe boots. This is a 3rd shift role from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am. Training is conducted Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm for 3-4 weeks. You will work 40-45+ hours per week with two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Steel-toed shoes are required, with an option to purchase your own or receive a new pair upon permanent employment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boca Raton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
