Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated individual to join our manufacturing team as a Saw Operator / Material Handler. This role is responsible for operating cold saw equipment, handling raw materials, maintaining inventory flow, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Receive, move, and organize raw materials throughout the facility Verify incoming materials against work orders and shipping documentation Prepare materials for production operations according to job specifications Set up and operate production cutting equipment and related machinery Monitor production processes to ensure parts meet dimensional and visual quality standards Perform routine measurements using standard inspection tools and document results as required Maintain production flow by monitoring material availability and communicating shortages Accurately complete production tracking and inventory transactions within the ERP system Assist with inventory organization, labeling, and material storage activities Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition, including scrap removal and general housekeeping Support cross-functional production and warehouse activities as needed Qualifications Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers Basic shop math skills, including working with decimals Understanding of metal cutting speeds and feeds Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings Forklift experience Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work effectively in a team environment
