  • PeopleReady of Pompano Beach, FL is now hiring Material Handlers in Deerfield Beach, FL.

As a Material Handler, you will support production and manufacturing operations by receiving, organizing, weighing, handling, and moving raw materials and finished products.   • _The pay rate for this job is $16 - $17 / hour
  • _ •What you'll be doing as a Material Handler•:•+ Receive, stock, organize, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the production facility + Weigh, label, and pack finished products according to work orders and packing instructions + Dispense and weigh raw materials accurately while following quality standards + Monitor raw material and packaging inventory levels and report shortages as needed + Inspect raw materials for appearance and quality before restocking or use + Safely handle materials, including hazardous materials, according to company safety procedures + Operate a forklift to move materials and products as needed + Dispose of empty containers and production waste according to company procedures + Report equipment problems or production issues promptly + Maintain clean, organized, and safe production and work areas + Perform other related duties as assigned •Available shifts:•

  • Job requirements:
  • + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + High school diploma or GED required + 1-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, material handling, or related experience preferred + Forklift experience required; forklift certification is a plus + Basic computer skills + Ability to follow work instructions, manufacturing orders, and safety procedures accurately + Strong attention to detail, particularly when weighing, labeling, and handling materials + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment + Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required + English proficiency required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus + Background check and drug test required •Ready to take control of the way you work?
