Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Team Member to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and inventory is maintained accurately. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, Open and verify inbound high quanity shipments by order counting and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders according to customer specifications. Computer expereince a must Ability to multitask Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks, move stock within the warehouse, and organize inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems like AS400 or MRP software, ensuring stock levels are current. Assist with stock replenishment by stocking shelves efficiently and organizing storage areas for optimal accessibility. Collaborate with the order fulfillment team to meet shipping deadlines while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine quality checks on shipments for damage or discrepancies before dispatching or receiving goods. Experience Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements. Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar ERP platforms like MRP systems. Prior involvement in e-commerce order picking, packing, and order fulfillment is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to load & unload activities and equipment operation.
