Dockhand / Watersports Team Member Beach Road Watersports - Englewood, FL Beach Road Watersports is looking to hire an all-star Dockhand to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, outdoor position perfect for someone who loves being on the water, working with people, and staying active in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview As a Dockhand, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, memorable experiences for our customers. This position involves customer interaction, boat and jet ski operations support, and general dock duties. Responsibilities Taking reservations and checking in customers Signing guests up for rentals, tours, and activities Explaining safe operation of boats and Sea-Doos to customers Fueling, cleaning, and maintaining boats and Sea-Doos Assisting with docking and customer departures/returns Leading guided jet ski tours from our docks to the Gulf and back Providing excellent customer service at all times Qualifications Prior boating experience and knowledge required Basic understanding of small engines preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Fun, positive, and professional attitude Comfortable working outdoors in the sun and heat Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Bonus Qualifications USCG 6-Pack Captain's License - Licensed captains can be trained to run Sunset Cruises and Dolphin Tours - Additional per-trip pay and tips available for captains Pay & Benefits Starting at $15/hr, with higher pay based on experience This is a tipped position Opportunity for additional pay per trip for licensed captains Work on the water in a fun, team-focused environment Schedule Part-time or full-time Weekends and holidays required Flexible scheduling based on season and availability How to Apply Apply through Indeed or stop by Beach Road Watersports in person.
