Job Description

Inventory Management:

•Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and MRO materials, tracking stock levels, and ensuring sufficient quantities are available to meet demands.

•

Receiving and Inspection:

Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against orders, conduct quality inspections, and ensure compliance with specifications.

Cataloging and Organization:

•Accurately catalog, label, and organize parts and materials within the warehouse for easy retrieval and accessibility.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

•Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, distributions, returns, and discrepancies, utilizing inventory management systems such as SAP.

Order Fulfillment:

•Process requests for spare parts efficiently, picking items from inventory, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring timely delivery to the designated departments or customers.

Collaboration and Communication:

•Coordinate with various departments, vendors, and planners to fulfill orders promptly, communicate any discrepancies or shortages, and ensure a smooth flow of materials.

Stock Replenishment:

•Monitor inventory levels, initiate reorder requests to prevent stockouts, and ensure a continuous supply of critical spare parts.

Maintenance and Safety:

•Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards, conducting regular checks on equipment and storage conditions.

Problem-solving:

•Address issues related to incorrect shipments, damaged parts, or discrepancies in inventory, resolving them efficiently to minimize disruptions.

Process Improvement:

•Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.

Assisting Other Departments:

•Assist Finished Goods (FG) Clerk in receiving finished goods and ensure materials are correctly transferred and documented.
