Job Description
Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Summary Material Handler will receive shipments, ensure that all inventory is properly placed and stored within the pharmacy. The Material Handler will work closely with the inventory support team and follow all best practice for pharmacy operations. Shifts
- Saturday
- Tuesday 9am-7:30pm
- Monday
- Friday 11am to 7:30pm Training schedule: Monday
- Friday 9:30am
- 6:pm for approx. 2 weeks Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receiving of Pharmaceutical Inventory from all wholesalers
- Validating all Pharmaceutical Inventory receipts to the invoice, either electronically manually.
- Stock medications according to FEFO inventory system
- Assist with inventory audits to eliminate expired drugs in inventory
- Assist with all Physical Inventories
- Provide support to the Inventory Department
- Assist with general clerical duties and filing
- Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA
- Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures
- Responsible for other duties assigned
