Warehouse Assistant - Love, Celine Role Overview The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, organization, and efficiency of the Love, Celine warehouse. This role oversees the physical movement of merchandise from the moment it arrives at the warehouse through processing, organization, transfer preparation, and shipment to Love, Celine locations. The Warehouse Manager works closely with the Inventory Manager to execute inventory priorities and ensure merchandise is received, processed, stored, and moved accurately and on time. This role is highly hands-on and is responsible for keeping the warehouse organized, maintaining strong processes, and managing the warehouse team. Warehouse Operations Own the day-to-day operations of the Love, Celine warehouse Maintain an organized, clean, efficient, and functional warehouse at all times Create and maintain clear systems for where inventory, supplies, equipment, and materials are stored Make sure merchandise can be easily located and accessed Maintain designated areas for incoming merchandise, processed merchandise, transfers, backstock, outgoing shipments, and supplies Continuously improve warehouse organization and workflow as the company grows Make sure warehouse procedures are being followed consistently Identify operational issues or inefficiencies and bring solutions to the Inventory Manager Receiving & Processing Oversee all incoming merchandise deliveries Make sure shipments are opened and processed promptly Verify merchandise received against packing slips and expected quantities Identify missing, damaged, incorrect, or unexpected merchandise Communicate receiving discrepancies to the Inventory Manager Have tagging, steaming, folding, hanging, and preparation of merchandise Make sure merchandise is processed accurately before being distributed or stored Prioritize incoming merchandise based on launches, store needs, and direction from the Inventory Manager Ensure new arrivals do not sit unprocessed in the warehouse Transfers & Store Distribution Execute transfers based on direction from the Inventory Manager Oversee pulling, counting, packing, and preparing merchandise for store transfers Make sure transfers are accurate before they leave the warehouse Ensure merchandise is properly labeled and organized by destination Coordinate outgoing transfers so stores receive merchandise when expected Track the physical status of transfers from warehouse preparation through pickup/shipment Communicate delays, shortages, or discrepancies to the Inventory Manager Help manage high-volume transfers for collections, seasonal changes, and new store openings Warehouse Inventory Organization Maintain accurate physical organization of inventory within the warehouse Ensure products are stored in the correct designated locations Keep backstock organized by the established company system Make sure inventory is not misplaced, mixed between locations, or left unprocessed Regularly review warehouse inventory organization and correct issues Maintain organization as inventory volume increases Work with the Inventory Manager during inventory counts and spot checks Assist in investigating warehouse-related inventory discrepancies Ensure physical inventory movement follows the proper system processes Warehouse Team Management Manage and oversee Warehouse Assistants and warehouse associates Assign daily tasks and priorities based on business needs Create an efficient daily workflow for the warehouse team Train new warehouse employees on Love, Celine processes and expectations Make sure employees understand proper receiving, tagging, transfer, packing, and organization procedures Review employee work for accuracy and completeness Hold the warehouse team accountable for productivity and accuracy Make sure the team completes priorities within required timelines Identify staffing needs based on warehouse volume and communicate them to leadership Collection & Launch Preparation Prepare merchandise for upcoming collection launches Work from launch timelines and priorities provided by the Inventory Manager Ensure merchandise is received, processed, tagged, organized, and ready for distribution before launch dates Prepare inventory for store launches, seasonal transitions, events, and major company initiatives Make sure warehouse execution does not delay product launches or store deliveries Coordinate the physical preparation of inventory for new store openings Shipping, Packing & Supplies Oversee packing standards for merchandise leaving the warehouse Ensure merchandise is protected and packed appropriately Maintain adequate warehouse supplies including boxes, tape, tagging supplies, hangers, bags, and other operational materials Monitor supply levels and communicate purchasing needs before supplies run out Maintain organized shipping and packing stations Coordinate pickups and outgoing shipments as needed Equipment & Warehouse Maintenance Maintain warehouse equipment, racks, shelving, carts, tables, and operational supplies Make sure warehouse equipment is used properly and safely Report maintenance or equipment issues Maintain clear aisles, workspaces, exits, and storage areas Help determine when additional racks, shelving, storage, equipment, or workspace is needed Communication & Accountability Report directly to the Inventory Manager Maintain consistent communication regarding incoming merchandise, processing progress, transfers, discrepancies, and warehouse priorities Provide updates on what has been received, what is being processed, what is ready to move, and what remains outstanding Escalate issues that could impact stores, inventory accuracy, launches, or deadlines Work closely with the Inventory Manager to execute inventory priorities efficiently Communicate with Store Managers when needed regarding incoming or outgoing merchandise
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
