Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Clerk to support a fast-paced logistics operation during a temporary election-cycle assignment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, packing, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, logistics, or material handling. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will help prepare, organize, label, verify, stage, and reconcile supplies and materials used for precinct operations. This is a great opportunity to contribute to an important community-focused operation while gaining valuable short-term experience in a structured, high-volume warehouse environment. Candidates who enjoy hands-on work, clear processes, supportive supervision, and contributing to a meaningful public service operation will be well suited for this assignment. Key Responsibilities
  • Count, sort, organize, pack, label, verify, stage, and reconcile supplies and materials for distribution.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, packing lists, supply lists, labels, checklists, and established procedures.
  • Verify inventory and identify missing, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, excess, or misplaced items.
  • Report discrepancies, safety concerns, equipment issues, property damage, workplace incidents, or security concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse work area.
  • Perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving materials. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
  • Assignment type: Temporary election-cycle assignment.
  • Assignment dates: September 28, 2026 through November 13, 2026.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Additional hours: Evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays may be required based on operational needs.

  • Prepare, pack, label, verify, stage, and reconcile election-related supplies and warehouse materials.
  • Support high-volume logistics, inventory, and distribution activities under tight deadlines.
  • Follow checklists, procedures, packing instructions, supply lists, and security requirements accurately.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and accountable warehouse environment.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, inventory, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, or material handling experience preferred based on role level.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain excellent attendance throughout the assignment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to commit to the full assignment from September 28, 2026 through November 13, 2026 without planned interruptions.
  • Must be available for the regular Monday through Friday schedule and for extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Must successfully complete all required criminal background screening and drug screening before starting.

  • Experience in warehouse support, logistics, inventory control, packing, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, supply preparation, material handling, or distribution.
  • Experience working in high-volume operational environments.
  • Ability to work accurately with packing lists, labels, checklists, and inventory documentation.
  • Prior temporary assignment experience in deadline-sensitive logistics or warehouse environments.
