6am - 4pm Monday - Friday Job Description This role supports a new facility by operating material handling and warehouse equipment, assisting with general labor tasks, and potentially helping with deliveries to ensure efficient and safe movement of products. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials. Assist with setting up and supporting operations in a new warehouse and distribution facility from the ground up. Perform general labor tasks such as material staging, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Use hand tools and basic equipment to support warehouse operations and equipment handling. Assist with machine operating tasks related to warehouse and distribution processes. Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks and preparing materials for delivery. Help with deliveries as needed, ensuring materials are properly loaded, secured, and handled. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and working in the warehouse environment. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and meet operational deadlines. Essential Skills Experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment. Ability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse or distribution environment. Proficiency using hand tools safely and effectively. Basic machine operating experience in an industrial or warehouse setting. Understanding of safe material handling practices and adherence to safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Shipping and receiving experience is a plus. NCCCO certification is a plus. NCCER certification is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palm Coast, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
