We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill the role of Material Handler. This full-time, 1st Shift position is based in Rockledge, FL, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork. The Material Handler position is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, moving, and shipping our materials and supplies with care to ensure that our cabinets can be created with quality in mind. Responsibilities Support the CARE values of the organization. Commit to producing a quality product for our customers. Assists in receiving material, equipment, and supplies delivered on purchase orders. Loads and unloads trucks containing material, supplies, and equipment. Moves material to proper location or work area. Follows company policies and procedures as it relates to material functions. Wraps, packs, and prepares products for movement and/or shipment. Performs periodic inventory and stock control on a limited basis. Maintains a clean safe working environment. Adheres to all applicable safety rules and regulations. Operate forklift and pallet jack to transport and store materials. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Operate forklift and pallet jack to transport and store materials. Working Relationship Communication is required across all levels of the organization- executive team, other functional leaders, subordinates and production floor workers. The material handler works under the immediate supervision of the Department Supervisor. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift/move in excess of 50 lbs. at a time Stand, walk, stoop, and perform motions for an extended period PPE Safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes at all times while on the production floor Safety This position expects to adhere to all safety rules to include the use of all require protective personal equipment (PPE). Specifically, eye and hearing protection must be worn at all times while in the production floor.
