Job Description

Coastal Marina Management is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Dockhand to join our team at Cat's Paw Marina in Saint Augustine, Florida. As a Dockhand, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the marina and in creating a welcoming, safe, and professional experience for our customers and guests. This is a hands-on position that includes assisting boaters, maintaining marina grounds and facilities, supporting fuel dock and boat storage operations, and helping with other daily operational needs. Because our Dockhands are often one of the first points of contact for customers, we are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, safety-conscious, and willing to assist wherever needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing excellent customer service, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable working outdoors in a marina environment. Key Responsibilities Dockhands assist with the daily operation and upkeep of the marina.
Responsibilities may include:
Treat all customers with first class customer service Perform daily opening and closing job duties Launch and stow storage customers' boats Rinse down and flush motors on customers' boats Clean docks, walkways, sidewalks, equipment, and all other areas of the facility Tend to all customers landing boats on our floating docks Sell fuel and keep an accurate fuel log General marina day-to-day projects Willingness to learn Contribute towards a healthy, safe, clean, and fun work environment Assist and support special events at the marina that may take place outside of normal operating hours
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
