Maintenance Technician Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial and/or industrial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely, providing a comfortable environment for tenants and employees. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and air handling units Respond promptly to maintenance requests, service calls, and emergencies Ensure compliance with all safety policies and environmental regulations Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory Perform general maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work Help maintain the overall cleanliness, safety, and condition of facilities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications are a plus) Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in commercial or industrial environments Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong communication and organizational skills Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing demanding tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel throughout Port St. Lucie, Palm Beach, and Broward County Availability for on-call duty, including evenings, weekends, and emergency situations Preferred Qualifications HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications highly preferred Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and compliance regulations Benefits Flexible schedule Opportunities for career advancement Paid time off
