Loader for a Logistics Company in Atlanta We are hiring a Loader to join our team at a logistics company in Atlanta. As a Loader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight from trucks and ensuring that all shipments are safely and accurately loaded onto the correct trucks. This job requires strong physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight from trucks using designated equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Verify shipment details, including quantity and destination, before loading onto trucks
• Organize and stack items in an efficient manner to maximize space utilization
• Secure loaded items with straps or other securing methods to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain accurate records of loaded shipments, including weight, destination, and time of departure
• Communicate with truck drivers to coordinate loading times and provide necessary instructions
• Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance or repair needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Proven experience as a Loader or similar role in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading equipment preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy when organizing shipments
• Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with truck drivers
• Basic computer skills for recording shipment details
