ABOUT US
American Cowboy Store is a locally owned feed and farm supply store serving Blairsville and the surrounding area. We take pride in helping our neighbors care for their animals and land. Our team shows up, works hard, and looks out for each other.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Receive, unload, and verify incoming feed and supply deliveries against purchase orders Stock, rotate, and organize feed bags, supplements, and related products in the warehouse Pull and stage customer orders accurately and on time Load customer vehicles safely and courteously — this is often the last impression we make Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times Operate warehouse equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) safely Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies to management Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting technique for heavy bags (50 lbs. regularly, 75+ lbs. occasionally) Assist sales floor team during peak periods as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift Reliable transportation and consistent availability Strong attention to detail — the right feed to the right customer matters Ability to work independently and follow through without constant supervision Team-first attitude and professional, friendly manner with customers Preferred (not required — we will train the right person): Prior warehouse, feed store, farm, or ranch experience Forklift certification or willingness to become certified Familiarity with livestock feed products, animal nutrition basics, or ag supply Experience with inventory or point-of-sale systems
Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
