Job Description

Overview We are actively seeking skilled Reach and Cherry Picker Operators to join our warehouse team. We have clients in Norcross, Duluth, Buford and Conyers that we are hiring for.

•You MUST be able to pass a Drug Screen & Criminal Background, have reliable transportation to and from work, 3+yrs of recent experience, and one of the clients require a copy of a previous forklift certification card (not all require this), so this is a plus! In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to efficiently pick, load, and unload materials within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your expertise will ensure accurate inventory management, safe handling of goods, and smooth warehouse operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in warehouse equipment operation and materials handling to contribute to a well-organized supply chain. Responsibilities Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards. Pick orders accurately using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems to ensure correct items are selected for shipment. Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage areas while adhering to heavy lifting protocols. Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance. Manage inventory levels by organizing stock within the warehouse and updating records in the warehouse management system. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to warehouse distribution procedures. Follow manual handling procedures for heavy or bulky items, maintaining safety standards at all times. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety practices, and enhance overall warehouse efficiency. Experience Proven experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts (including lift trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo), and other material handling equipment. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation. Prior experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology for logistics, and materials handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for inventory counts and measurements. Experience in manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety standards. Previous roles involving warehouse supervision or leadership are a plus but not required.

Pay- Per position:

$18-$19/hr. Paid weekly direct deposit or pay card / Temp to hire
