Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our manufacturing leadership team as a General Laborer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, physical labor, and the ability to work well in a team environment and ensure the production process has a continuous and steady flow of the production of molded rubber goods. This is a very labor-intensive role that works in all types of weather, moving, lifting, and lacing all types of tires from passenger car to semi-truck tires.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Stack finished products on pallets Loading trucks Moving, loading, and lacing all forms of tires To work in all weather conditions. The ability to work as a team
Required Skills/Abilities:
The plant environment will include, extreme cold and heat (weather related), working near moving mechanical parts. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequently required to stand for 9 hours a day, walk; use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl.
Education and Experience:
1-2 years experience working in an industrial manufacturing operations environment, preferred.
