Warehouse Clerk

Warehouse Clerk We are looking to hire a warehouse clerk to assist in receiving, shipping and organization of parts within our warehouse located in Conley, Georgia. Hours will be 7 to 5, Monday through Friday. You will have weekends and holidays off. Responsibilities:

1. Machine reception and cleaning. a. Machine can arrive at our shop, returning from rental work at varying times throughout the work week. Applicant will need to pressure wash machines as they come back from job sites and report issues with machines, such as missing and broken parts and excessive wear on certain components. Pressure washing the machines will involve basic operation of equipment. Training will be provided. 2. Parts Shipping and Receiving a. Unloading freight trucks and delivery vans and reporting packing slip quantities, returning packing slip to warehouse manager. Stocking received items into correct locations in warehouse, including parts kept outdoors like screens, hammers, dyes etc. Prior experience with forklifts and/or skid steers is a plus. b. Parts shipping - boxing up parts orders to be sent to customers. This applies to boxes shipping via delivery truck and pallets shipping freight carriers. Will have to return box dimensions and pallet setups to warehouse manager for final approval/shipping paperwork. 3. Keeping the yard clean. a. This task includes calling waste pickup providers to have container swaps for our yard waste. Metal banding and pallets, excess boxes and shipping waste needs to be cleaned up on a daily basis. Ensuring parts and shipments are put away promptly to keep as much clear floor space as possible. b. The concrete pad should be swept on a weekly basis with equipment aid. The shop floor should be swept as needed. Typically after a machine in the shop has been completed. 4. Assisting field technicians. a. Applicant needs to be ready to lend a helping hand to our field technicians when they are at the shop and in need of a two man lift or help completing a task that is made easier with two people. Installing screens, skirt rubber etc. 5. Assisting Will Call Customers a. Applicant will need to help load customers trucks with the parts they have purchased. It will include pulling parts from shelves and parts from outside and loading the customers trucks. Warehouse manager will create the order on the computer, then pass it off to the clerk.

Warehouse Clerk Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Understanding of computerized inventory technologies. Ability to lift heavy components. Knowledge of basic warehouse procedure from parts receiving to shipping. Good communication skills. No personal tools required. Company will supply all necessary tools
