HR DUTIES:
Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, lift trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Use barcode scanning systems and warehouse management software to accurately track inventory movements and update records in real-time Execute order picking tasks with precision using manual handling techniques and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders efficiently Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness Maintain adherence to OSHA standards, forklift safety protocols, and safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and injuries Perform routine equipment inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock counting, cycle counts, and replenishment to support warehouse distribution operations Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling best practices Prior experience with heavy lifting, manual handling techniques, and basic math skills necessary for accurate inventory counts and measurements Knowledge of forklift safety standards (OSHA compliant) and warehouse safety protocols to promote a secure work environment Warehouse supervisor experience or similar leadership roles are a plus for those interested in advancing into supervisory positions Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as Hi-Lo forklifts or picker is advantageous but not required Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high attention to detail in all tasks #
