This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately. Warehouse Associates are responsible for warehouse duties including: the physical loading, unloading of heavy furniture and/or sorting of packages/boxes of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, staging, wrapping, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling, etc. Associates are also responsible for operating warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Job Duties Load, unload, move, and stage furniture and other products safely and efficiently. Sort, scan, wrap, label, and prepare orders for shipment and delivery. Verify inventory quantities and assist with inventory control processes. Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment, following all safety procedures. Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records. Support receiving, shipping, warehouse organization, and general operational activities. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic computer and scanning system skills preferred. Ability to follow work instructions, inventory procedures, and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills. Experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or order fulfillment experience preferred. Furniture warehouse experience highly desirable. Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience is a plus. Experience with inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, and material handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy. Reliable attendance, flexibility for overtime, and a strong team-oriented work ethic. Physical Capabilities Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and reach throughout the workday. Frequent pushing and pulling of loaded pallet jacks, carts, and warehouse equipment. Strong physical stamina and endurance for repetitive lifting and material handling tasks. Ability to work extended hours, overtime, or weekends as required by business needs.
