Summary:

The purpose of this position is to carry out assigned duties, primarily focused on material handling within the Shipping department but support all departmental needs as business demands require. • -Moves materials from packed staging area to shipping and storage area.
• Returns empty pallets to packing area for reuse.
• Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift.
• Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assist in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.
• Keeps always assigned work area clean.
• Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Must be able to operate a side loader.

Education/Experience:

• -High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment as a material handler.
• Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment as a mobile equipment operator
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for up to 12 hours per shift
• Good Computer Skills
• Ability to carry out detail written or oral instructions At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.53
