Starting at $65,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to support the launch and daily operations of our warehouse in the Savannah, GA area. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse operations experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced distribution environment. This position will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing and developing the warehouse team, maintaining operational accuracy and efficiency, and ensuring safety and service standards are consistently met. Native-level Spanish proficiency is required, along with strong English communication skills. Key Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. Lead, supervise, train, and develop warehouse employees, including forklift operators and general warehouse staff. Plan daily labor requirements and allocate employees based on workload and operational priorities. Monitor warehouse productivity, accuracy, and operational KPIs. Ensure inventory accuracy through proper inventory control procedures, cycle counts, and reconciliation. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements. Coordinate with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams regarding inbound and outbound operations. Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and service quality. Support new customer onboarding, warehouse setup, and implementation of new operational processes. Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse SOPs and ensure employees follow established procedures. Prepare operational reports and communicate warehouse performance, staffing needs, and operational issues to management. Help build a strong warehouse team and promote accountability, productivity, and teamwork. Qualifications Native-level Spanish proficiency is required , with strong English verbal and written communication skills. Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related operations. Minimum 1 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong understanding of receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, and general warehouse operations. Experience managing warehouse employees, labor planning, productivity, and operational KPIs. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) . Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook . Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a 3PL, distribution, or logistics warehouse environment . Experience with new warehouse startups or facility launches . Experience managing multiple customer accounts or warehouse projects. Experience developing warehouse SOPs and implementing new operational processes. Forklift and material-handling equipment knowledge is a plus. Work Environment This is an on-site warehouse management position . The position requires regular presence on the warehouse floor and active involvement in daily operations. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and responding to changing operational needs.
