Job Description

What we need: We are looking for a skilled, hardworking individual to perform standard material handling duties. What's in it for you: Opportunities for overtime. Monday-Friday 7:00am

Responsibilities:
The Material Handler is responsible for the staging of finished goods and supplies in the plant and loading them onto outbound containers. This can be full truckload or LTL shipments. All orders are to be picked according to the pick ticket provided in the ERP system and the material handler will use a hand scanner to complete these transactions. Pulls orders for outbound shipments using RF scanner. Stages the orders in an assigned area where they can be audited prior to shipment. Maintains warehouse racks and aisles and consolidates material. Pulls damaged materials and works with QC and the production department to ensure they are reworked. Maintains good housekeeping conditions in all shipping areas. Loads orders on to trailers in a safe manner and distributes the weight on the trailer to follow DOT rules. Safely segregates materials on trailers that are hazmat. Perform daily cycle counts Observes all plant and safety rules.
Requirements:
Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience
Forklift Operation Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
