Full Job Description Job Summary:

A Warehouse Associate's primary role is to ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials within a warehouse environment. This involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory, while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. They also play a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records and collaborating with other team members to fulfill orders and contribute to overall warehouse operations.

Essential Functions:

Welcome delivery trucks and safely load/unload products Process business to business sales for clients Process shipments and deliveries according to company policy Occasional in-person delivery might be required Inspect and prepare incoming/outgoing products for damage Sort and place materials and items according to organizational standards Operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks Physically receive and count materials received, enter properly into software Label products and store them in an organized manner Communicate efficiently with supervisors and teammates Comply with regulations and procedures to align with quality service standards Ensure your work environment is clean, tidy and safe for you and others around you Ability to handle fragile materials Utilize logistics software programs to enter data and inventory (Fishbowl) Document and track shipping departure and arrival times Wrap and unwrap stock from pallets Containerize basic loads Tag and label products according to shape, size, type, etc. with a barcode Properly use and maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles

Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 2 years of previous general labor/warehouse experience Forklift and similar machine experience must be familiar with computer programs like ( sap, fishbowl inventory or NetSuite's, micrsoft 365 )

Certifications:

Valid driver's license

Work Environment:

While performing the essential functions of this job at Traffic Depot, this individual spends about 100% of their time working in a warehouse, shop setting. This individual may be expected to assist in, but not limited to, sign making, deliveries, quality checking or packaging traffic signs and stencils made-to-order.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 7AM-4PM, occasional Sat hours 8-12

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Produce shipping reports and summaries Train new associates
