Job Description:
Sierra International Machinery is seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse Worker will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Material Handling:
Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of materials and products. Verify quantities and quality, and organize items for proper storage within the warehouse. Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed to move materials.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Update inventory systems and collaborate with the management and purchasing team to replenish stock as needed.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Utilize warehouse management systems to track order status and maintain documentation.
Shipping and Receiving:
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials for outgoing orders. Coordinate with shipping carriers and ensure timely and accurate shipment of products. Receive and process returns or exchanges.
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Arrange materials and products in designated locations, optimizing space utilization. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with warehouse policies.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine and inspections of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
Warehouse Experience:
A minimum of 1 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
Forklift Operation:
Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Knowledge of safe material handling practices. Attention to

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management, order picking, and packing. Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Safety Consciousness:
Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Team Player:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members from various departments to achieve warehouse goals.

Proficiency in using computer applications for inventory management, order tracking, and documentation purposes.
