Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Handler to join our first shift team. This role emphasizes efficient inventory management, accurate documentation, and effective communication with leadership to ensure a seamless shutdown of operations at the site. The Material Handler will be responsible for packing products and dispatching them to another location. Responsibilities Perform daily inventory counts, cycle audits, and reconcile discrepancies. Maintain accurate records and notes on stock movement, damages, and adjustments. Communicate inventory status and issues to management and team leads. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound delivery. Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and barcode scanners, safely. Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization. Dress code is conducive to active warehouse duties, and the role is designed for first shift hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kennesaw, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
