Job Description
Interstate Batteries of Greater Georgia is a family-owned distributor proudly serving our dealers throughout the region. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Delivery Driver who takes pride in providing excellent service and representing our company professionally. This job involves a lot of heavy lifting At the end of the day you will be tired and sore Advil will be your best friend for a couple of weeks If you're still interested, keep reading! Pay & Benefits Starting pay: $17.50 per hour + incentive comp Monday-Friday schedule (No weekends) Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual after 60-day probation period Medical benefits Stable, full-time position with opportunities for long-term employment Responsibilities Put away inventory when delivered Sort and stack battery cores each morning from the day before Process warranty batteries Refurbish used batteries Keep warehouse clean and orderly Assist with phone calls/walk-in customers Assist with battery deliveries when necessary Assist with battery installations Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record . Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday (batteries are heavy!) . Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Clean-cut, professional appearance. Friendly, respectful communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Previous warehouse/forklift is preferred but not required.
