Job Description
working hours: 5:00a.m-14:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Sort packages by zip code for delivery by DSP. Supervise temporary workers during the sorting process.
- Train temporary workers in sorting procedures and best practices.
- Communicate with DSPs to resolve delivery issues. Identify and establish potential partnerships with new DSPs.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Coordinate truck dispatch and ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Design efficient delivery routes for drivers to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
- Track and manage exception cases, including damaged, lost, or delayed parcels.
- Work closely with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Other tasks assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Proficiency in operating clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management purposes.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
