Job Description
Join Our Growing Team! We're a fast-growing company in the scrap metal industry , and we're looking for motivated individuals who want to be part of something big. This role offers hands-on experience, career growth opportunities, and the chance to make an impact every day . Responsibilities Assist in scheduling trucks in and out of the facility, ensuring smooth and timely operations. Load and unload trucks (van trailers and flatbeds). Process various types of scrap metal (dumping, sorting, cutting). Accurately weigh and label different materials. Support month-end and year-end inventory counts. Perform other duties as assigned to keep operations running efficiently. Create paperwork for receiving material and shipping material out What We're Looking For Ability to operate a forklift, Sawzall, and steel strapping tools (previous forklift experience preferred). Ability to read and follow work instructions. Handle basic shipping paperwork for materials coming in and out. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted. Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Basic math skills required. Ability to learn and utilize our scrap yard management software Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where every day is different . Why Join Us?
