Job Description
Warehouse Associate - Portal, GA McLaren Industries supplies industrial rubber tracks, solid tires, and attachments to customers across the construction, agricultural, forestry, and heavy equipment industries. Since 1997, McLaren Industries has grown into a global company serving over 500,000 customers. We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Warehouse and Testing facility in Portal, GA. This role is responsible for inbound inventory, product assembly, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, team player, and detail-oriented. Position Responsibilities Unload inbound containers and verify product quantity and condition Inventory control- ensuring that all the new products received are fully and correctly added to the inventory system (WMS). Receive and fulfill orders by selecting correct products and verifying SKUs Package customer orders for shipment, including testing, palletizing, strapping, and verifying BOL information Receive, inspect, test, and process returned merchandise Assist with product testing, rework, and special projects Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments safely Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards Restock warehouse and shipping supplies as needed Assist with facility upkeep, including maintaining common areas and bathrooms Report operational issues or concerns to the Warehouse Manager Required Qualifications Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, and assembly experience Inventory control experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) Forklift Certification required Skid steer experience Hydraulic systems and hose assembly experience is a plus Computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office applications Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely Full range of body motion and ability to stand for extended periods Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team Ability to Work outdoors in various weather conditions as needed Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow Reliable transportation to work Reporting Structure This position works closely with Sales Managers, Logistics, Customer Service and Warehouse staff, and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
