PM Job Summary Position:
Material Handler I Schedule:
2nd Shift
  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 3:30 PM
  • 12:00 AM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)
Base Rate:
$16.50/Hour ($1.00 shift differential) Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility. Essential Job Functions
  • Ability to use a hand scanner Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations Transfers finished products to designated areas Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.

Education & Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience Competencies
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel. Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions. Operational Equipment Hand-held RF Scanner, manual/motorized pallet jack
Work Environment and Physical Demands Work Environment Material Handler:
Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
Physical Demands Material Handler:
Medium
  • Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
