As the Production Technician Associate, you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies, as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies. Pay, benefits and more.

What you'll do on a typical day: Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions

Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments

Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner

Work with a variety of materials, including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils and abrasives

Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality standards

Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within department What you need to succeed at

GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need: A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques

Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures

Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment It'd be great if you also have: High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience

2 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment

Availability to travel more than 75% of the time

Good communication skills

Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team members

Ability to be engaged and productive while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations

Ability to work independently and in a team environment This job requires the ability to: Lift up to 50 lbs.
