Use equipment such as scissor lifts, boom poles, brooms, and towels to access and clean hard-to-reach areas safely and effectively. Pressure wash exterior panels once installed, as well as generator coverings and flooring, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Work safely and remain alert at all times while performing duties in and around active construction zones and heavy equipment. Carry out tasks while standing, kneeling, bending, and working from ladders for extended periods throughout the shift. Clean interior surfaces and installed equipment, including beams and walls, as construction progresses. Continue power washing activities during all seasons, adapting to changing weather conditions. Check in daily at the guard shack after a short walk from the parking area and follow site access and safety protocols. Collaborate and work effectively in groups of four to five, supporting team members and coordinating tasks to meet project timelines. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in a labor-intensive role, such as construction, cleaning, general labor, janitorial, mitigation, or restoration. Strong understanding of working alongside other trades in an active construction environment. Ability to safely operate and work around scissor lifts and heavy equipment (experience with scissor lifts is strongly preferred). Capability to stand and perform physical work for 10 or more hours per day. Comfort working in all hot and cold environments, including rain or shine, and adapting to changing conditions. Valid driver's license. Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and checks. Reliability, alertness, and strong attention to safety in a construction setting. Effective teamwork and communication skills for working in groups of four to five. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction cleaning, general labor, janitorial work, mitigation, or restoration. Knowledge of environmental cleaning practices on construction sites. Familiarity with hand tools used in general labor and cleaning tasks. Exposure to Hazwoper or similar safety-focused environments is beneficial. Ability to follow detailed instructions and site-specific safety procedures. Willingness to work occasional overtime and some Saturdays as needed by project demands. Why Work Here? You join a team that plays a vital role in keeping complex, high-tech facilities safe, clean, and ready for operation. The work offers consistent full-time hours, opportunities for overtime, and the chance to build hands-on experience in construction and environmental cleaning. You work closely with a supportive crew, receive required safety gear, and gain exposure to large-scale data center projects that can strengthen your skills and open future career paths. Work Environment This position is based on an active construction site for data centers, with approximately 90% of work performed indoors and about 10% outdoors. Typical hours are Monday through Friday from about 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some days running longer due to construction needs and occasional Saturday work. A 30-minute unpaid lunch is provided; there are microwaves on site, but no refrigerators, so you should plan to bring a packed lunch with an ice pack. Work is performed in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, rain, and winter, and power washing continues through the colder months, requiring appropriate dress for the elements. The site includes a 10-minute outdoor walk from the parking lot to the guard shack for daily check-in. You work around equipment that is still being installed, as well as other trades and heavy machinery, and you frequently stand, kneel, bend, and use ladders and lifts throughout the day. Required attire includes steel-toed boots and jeans with a work-appropriate shirt, supplied by the contractor. Personal protective equipment such asANSI-Z89
hard hat, ANSI-Z87 safety glasses, ANSI safety vest with 2-inch reflective tape, and level 2-4 cut-resistant work gloves is provided on site unless you already have these items.
