What You'll Do Assemble seating components using hand tools and power tools Load and unload parts on and off the paint line Pick, pack, and organize materials for production and shipping Move parts and materials throughout the facility using carts and other material-handling equipment Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met Perform basic measurements and calculations to support production requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with cleaning, housekeeping, and other production support duties as needed Work closely with team members to achieve daily production goals What We're Looking For At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience Experience using hand tools and power tools Ability to perform assembly, picking, packing, and material handling tasks Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable standing and moving throughout an 8-hour shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable work history and strong attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience working in assembly, paint line, warehouse, or material handling operations Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement Why Join Us? ✅ Stable full-time employment ✅ Opportunity to learn multiple production processes ✅ Work for an industry-leading manufacturer ✅ Team-oriented culture focused on safety and quality ✅ Opportunities for advancement and cross-training ✅ Hands-on work that keeps you active throughout the day Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Altamont, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
