Duties Provide daily care for hens, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health status Maintain clean and safe poultry housing, including bedding management and waste removal Operate farm equipment such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and power tools for various tasks Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation Assist with animal husbandry activities like vaccination, health checks, and managing breeding programs Support livestock handling procedures with care and adherence to safety standards in production Conduct outdoor work tasks including fencing repairs, equipment inspections, and habitat maintenance to promote animal welfare Skills Must be able to frequently lift 25 to 50 pounds occasionally Be able to stand for long periods of time Hands-on experience with manual handling tools, power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and greenhouse operations Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments to ensure a secure workplace for all team members Basic math skills for inventory tracking and measurement tasks; ability to perform equipment maintenance accurately Experience working with farm animals like poultry or equine species; animal handling skills are a plus This role provides a fulfilling opportunity to develop your skills in a lively environment while making a tangible impact on sustainable farming efforts. Pay:
