Great Midwest Seafood Company is looking for a reliable, hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. We are a small, hands-on seafood distribution company servicing restaurants throughout the region. Our drivers do much more than simply drive a truck—we work as a team, help wherever needed, and take pride in providing great service to our customers. If you enjoy taking initiative, working within a team, being on the road, and having a job where every day is a little different, this could be a great fit. THE JOB This position combines local and out-of-town deliveries with warehouse responsibilities. Our delivery operation runs Monday through Saturday , using seven refrigerated freezer trucks. Drivers share responsibility for deliveries as well as pulling product and preparing trucks when they are not on the road. A typical week includes approximately two days of out-of-town routes and three days working in the building with local deliveries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive local and out-of-town delivery routes Deliver seafood and frozen food products to restaurant customers Provide friendly, professional service at each customer stop Get customer signature and payment where applicable Pull and stage products for delivery Load and pack delivery trucks Put incoming product away in the warehouse Help check in incoming semi-truck deliveries Maintain a clean, organized work environment suitable for food handling Work as part of a small team and help wherever needed

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH

Great Midwest Seafood also operates a retail seafood store , giving motivated employees an opportunity to learn and grow beyond the delivery and warehouse side of the business. Retail experience is not required for this position , but an interest in working with retail customers, learning about seafood, and becoming involved with that side of the company is a definite plus. As employees develop their skills and become familiar with our products and customers, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and grow within the company.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't need years of experience to join our team. We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and dependable Friendly and professional with customers A good communicator Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Willing to pitch in and help wherever needed Comfortable with physical work and lifting boxes up to 60 lbs. (Most boxes weigh approximately 10-20 lbs.) Able to maintain a clean and organized work area Interested in learning and growing with a small, locally owned company

SCHEDULE & HOURS

Full-time or part-time positions available. Approximately 45 hours per week for full-time employees Typical hours are roughly 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Saturday operation Part-time hours can be very flexible
