Material Handler Compensation:

Based in Elma, Iowa, with additional locations in Hampton, Iowa and Darlington, Wisconsin, we supply building materials, agricultural building packages, and material for projects of every scale. We're proud of our reputation for service, knowledge, and treating customers and employees like family. We're looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our team at our Elma lumberyard. In this role, you'll load, unload, and move building materials throughout the yard and warehouse using a forklift, while also handling occasional driving duties that require a CDL-A, such as delivering materials to job sites or transporting inventory between locations. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in physical work, drives safely, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a health card. Forklift experience preferred Clean driving record Ability to lift and move materials throughout a shift 50lbs or greater Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Possibility to obtain a CDL-A within 3 months We offer employee payment assistance for CDL-A testing and licensing — if you don't have your CDL-A yet but want to get there, we'll help you make it happen.
