Cargill is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join our team in the Food & Beverage Operations division. In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse processes, directly impacting our mission to nourish and sustain the global community. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in warehouse operations, safety management, and have a strong commitment to fostering an environment of teamwork and productivity within our global agriculture and food production chain. Responsibilities Operate various types of warehouse machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure compliance with safety and sanitary regulations within the warehouse. Load and unload deliveries, check their contents, and correctly manage inventory either manually or using a forklift. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain partners to ensure smooth inward and outward movement of goods. Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs as needed. Assist in the coordination and supervision of shipping and receiving processes. Required Skills Effective inventory management. Proficient in operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong organizational and time management skills. Capability to follow and enforce safety and sanitation guidelines. Excellent communication and basic mathematical skills.
