Job Description

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, including receiving, shipping, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products. This role supports daily warehouse operations through accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and timely order fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities Receive and process incoming stock and materials Unload trucks, inspect deliveries, and check merchandise against shipment documentation. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or freight by packaging, labeling, and preparing parcels Sort and place inventory on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards Assist with manual inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records through data entry Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials, pack boxes, and place orders in the delivery area. Open bales, crates and other containers as needed Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials received or distributed in the computer system. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including shelves, pallet zones, and workstations. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or equipment issues. Operate warehouse equipment such as handcarts, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified). Wear the proper safety equipment at all times Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional warehouse needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs frequently; ability to lift over 100 lbs with assistance occasionally. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel for extended periods (8-10 hours). Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Basic computer skills; data entry experience a plus. Dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented Forklift operation experience (sit-down and stand-up) preferred or willing to become certified. Work Environment Warehouse setting with regular exposure to material handling activities. Use of hands for sorting, packing, and other manual tasks. Fast-paced environment requiring consistent physical activity.
Pay:
$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 47.0 per week
