JOB DESCRIPTION
Deb El Iowa Operating, LLC is currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team! Our ESL (Extended Shelf Life) Line is a high paced environment and candidates must be detail oriented. Excellent attendance is a must and enjoy being part of a team. The (Extended Shelf Life) ESL Line Employee is responsible for the proper filling of packaging containers meeting USDA and Deb El quality regulations as they apply to finished product.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Proper filling of containers to the specified weight. Tear down, cleaning and reassembly of equipment. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP's), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Report any food safety and quality issues/problems to personnel with supervisor to initiate action. Encourage a positive work environment/morale Be on board and support all company initiatives Other tasks as assigned.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
The job of ESL Line employee will have been satisfactorily achieved when: Finished product meeting all quality standards is packaged and ready for shipment according to schedule. Meet expectations of 4,000 cartons per hour or 8,000lbs an hour Meet expectations of 350 cases an hour or 10,500lbs an hour Complete cleaning and inspection for filling and packaging, SIP and equipment set up for the run in 10 hours
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Frequent gripping, grasping, stretching, reaching, pulling, and pushing. Capable of working on feet for up to 12 hours per day.
