Undisclosed, Furst-McNess Company is looking to add a Seasonal General Laborer at our Storm Lake, IA location.

Tuesday - Saturday (5 days per week)
Weekly Hours:
Work directly with your Manager to create a schedule that aligns with your availability and business needs Flexible schedules ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week (with available overtime) Both part-time or full-time seasonal hours are available Minimum shift length of 4 hours

This role is intended to be a seasonal position through the end of February. POSITION SUMMARY
The General Labor position supports daily operations across the facility by performing a variety of manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, and housekeeping duties. Depending on business needs, employees in this role may assist primarily in production, warehouse operations, facility cleaning, or a combination of all areas. This hands-on position plays an important role in maintaining safe, efficient, and productive plant operations while supporting overall team success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform general labor, manufacturing/production, warehouse, and housekeeping duties as needed to support facility operations Assist with production processes, material handling, packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement Load, unload, move, and store materials and finished goods throughout the facility Operate or assist with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment through routine housekeeping and sanitation activities Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, GMP standards, and regulatory requirements Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification with company support Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math calculations Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork Effective teamwork, communication, and reliability skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Willingness to work in an indoor warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather conditions Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work at heights, and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment
