Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including inventory control, materials handling, and order fulfillment. Your expertise in operating heavy equipment and warehouse management systems will contribute to efficient distribution processes. Duties Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory using warehouse management systems Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, stocking, packaging, and order picking with adherence to safety protocols Prepare shipments by packing products securely and accurately for shipping & receiving operations Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and processing customer orders in a timely manner Maintain safety regulations by using personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety procedures, and reporting hazards or incidents promptly Support warehouse operations through stock replenishment, inventory audits, and cycle counts to maintain optimal stock levels Experience Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with hands-on operation of material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and inventory control Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry tasks
