Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in daily operations by accurately selecting products and preparing website orders for shipment. In this full-time, temp-to-hire role, you handle inbound and outbound small parcels and freight, including moving, loading, receiving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products. You collaborate closely with other departments and co-workers to maintain an efficient, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Responsibilities Accurately pull, pack, and ship customer orders with a high level of precision. Receive, inspect, and organize inbound and outbound products, including small parcels and freight. Move, load, locate, relocate, stack, and count products throughout the warehouse. Stock shelves and maintain accurate inventory levels. Use ERP and other computer systems to enter, update, and track products and orders. Perform general material handling, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and basic assembly tasks. Assist with dock work, including loading and unloading trucks using appropriate tools and equipment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely as needed for warehouse tasks. Support the organization and optimization of warehouse layout and product flow for continuous improvement. Perform daily cleaning and basic process maintenance to keep the warehouse neat and orderly. Conduct all operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA and other applicable standards. Adhere to and help enforce safety practices, promptly reporting hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary. Participate in in-house forklift training and certification and operate a forklift once trained. Collaborate effectively with co-workers and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing. Essential Skills Ability to accurately pull, pack, and ship orders with close attention to detail. Ability to receive, organize, stock, and maintain inventory in a warehouse setting. Comfort using computers and various computer programs for data entry and product management. Capability to use ERP systems or similar software to support warehouse operations. General material handling skills, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to follow instructions and document work. Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, hearing, and manual dexterity, to perform focused work safely. Physical ability to stand and move throughout the shift and to push, lift, carry, pull, and/or throw up to approximately 35 pounds. Commitment to following safety procedures and working in accordance with OSHA and other applicable standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Previous forklift experience is preferred; in-house forklift training and certification will be provided. Prior experience with shipping, receiving, and dock work is beneficial. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools in an industrial or warehouse environment is a plus. Experience working with ERP systems or inventory management software is advantageous. Ability to organize workflow and contribute ideas to improve warehouse efficiency. Comfort working on your feet for the majority of the shift and moving throughout the warehouse. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse environment where you work around moving mechanical parts and standard material handling equipment. The noise level is usually normal for an industrial setting. You spend most of the shift on your feet, moving intermittently throughout the workday to pick, pack, stock, and move products. The position involves pushing, lifting, carrying, pulling, and occasionally throwing items weighing up to approximately 35 pounds. You use hand tools, power tools, and computer systems, including ERP software, to support daily operations. The warehouse emphasizes cleanliness and organization, and you are expected to help maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workspace while consistently following established safety practices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Nampa, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
